Yeah...FC topic.
My City TypeZ 1.5 VTEC ( Still not sure what D series it is, D15B ke or D15whatever). Goes about 430km if I am light footed. But will plummet down to 350km if I tekan.
I get so frustrated with the auto GB so much I just kept on tekan to get the kick down. Anyone knows where to source for a manual GB please?

Shiro, you seem very knowledgeable on Honda engines, do you know what exact code is the TypeZ VTEC engine? I called Honda and they only gave me my engine serial number.

for what ride? EG/EK/EF?

Searching the forums also good.. it's a common question, and you should be able to get hits easily.

Hi to all honda drivers,

My current D15B sohc has quite a high fc. Rm10 can reach about 45km only. Is there any recomended fuel device that can save some fc that you guys have used before? pls recomend and advice to me. Thanks

bro.... fuel getting expensive la these days... if you dont realize..

dont calculate rm10 how far can go... next time calculate 1 litre can go how far... that will be much more accurate.and yes, my d15b consumption is more or less like yours.

last trip down to JB from KL:
58 or so bucks from Imperial Hotel to Vis Autoworks JB.
Avg. speed = 130kmh.

Bla bla bla.. if you want performance.. you shouldn't be picky about fuel costs.. :P

If you want fuel saving.. trade car for bike.. :P

ahbong81,

if ur car eg8 n d15b auto, japan in town test driving value around 13km/l. for real conditions should be more or less 9.1km/l.

if u say rm10=45km

so rm10=5L petrol more or less

5Lx9.1km/L=45.5km

considering the age of your car and condition of the tranny + engine, 45km per rm10 still reasonable.

Cheers
