How much u need to own S15?

i figure out installment can b around 1.2k-1.5k(calculations done along w d/p) but now question is how much more should set aside for maintaining this beau?

change oil - 5000km cost ~rm200?
LSD g/b oil - ????km cost?
tyres - 16"/17"/18" costs per piece?

how many km/l this baby makes for mixed driving conditions?

Engine oil depending on what brand - RM 100-130 (Motul semi syn), RM 270-280 (Motul 300v)
Oil filter around - Nissan = RM 28, Greddy = RM 45
LSD gearbox oil - Motul = less than RM 100, Kaaz = RM 150

tyres ?

new - 16" = RM 300-500 17" = RM 350-800 18" = RM 450-1200
2nd hand - 16" = RM 40-60 each 17" = RM 50-200 each 18" = RM 150-400 each

On average I get 450-480km till the light comes out. sometimes it goes to 500-550km.
full tank = RM 100-110 (+/-)

i think rm100 can get 450 - 500km quite ok for such car...only thing gotta get used to is prob the tyre price, =(

my car also stock, turbo and ecu, 0.9 bar, fmic, fuel pump walbro, and my car is very very rich.
you can have a look at my rear bumper, after 4500rpm, the AFR drops to 10-10.5 :shocked:

S15 is more like petrol guzzler only

A normal Stock SR20DET turbo normally can achieve 400km for err RM80 buck petrol

Bvalve.. you pakai 18". that one reason as well

bvalve, IMHO, s15 is a car to admire, enjoy; its ok not to worry too much on petrol, as long as dun need 2 pump full tank every alternate days jz 2 drive around town. (fri nites diff storwey....heheh) 18" is sooo delicious on s15..........:shades_smile:

it your commitment

you can earn 5k permonth but after extra commitment like insurance, housing, kiddo
you might only able to support get Proton only

you might earn 4k but you have nothing need to bother
so you can afford it

it for FWD SR.. not RWD SR..
