FYI: this is no cheap radar. I drive an Evo 8. Racing every week. And the cops here in the US are a bitch too..

Glossary
X band - radar used at shopping center for automatic doors and for theft control. Also for police radar gun use.

K band - widely used long range gun used by cops.

Ka band - Over the hill detection

POP - intelligent unit to block false alarm

VG2 - block laser guns

Pulse - gun pulsing detection.

The ones listed is only vague and mostly popular with the cops. In addition this radar utilizes a 360 path view so it detects at a much more efficient rate. Usefull at night when speeding and can't see cops.

Can you write some review about ur friends radar detector....main key point is does it works in malaysia ....as there is a lot of different of bandwidth...

so most of the highway the local use more Radar Gun or Laser Gun??
