Saga FL 1.3 (M) | Need Standard Modding Advice

Known Issues so far
-'Krik Krik' sound in belting area (Need to change bearing tensioner?)
-When driving in bumper to bumper jam, dashboard light go off and come back on again after 1 second. Is fine if going at speed.(Alternator or compressor?)

In short:
Car is doing well so far. Just the normal 'penyakit Campro' need to be addressed. I didn't mention Suspension because I think servicing the suspension would suffice for now given the budget, the car can still hold well at highway speeds, and sticks like glue at at 60 kph Klawang Corners. If you guys have any feedback on what things I can move around and prioritize would be nice too.

What do u mean by dashboard light?

the krik2 sound could be;
1.tensioner bearing-replace the bearing only.no need to replace the whole set.
2.aircond compressor bearing-if the mileage is very high.
3.water pump-replacement require removal of timing belt.
4.timing belt tensioner-i encounter 1 time the tensioner make sound after less than 20k km. I was using timing belt set from Gates.

If i were u i will do these first;
-some UR bars
-open pod with heat shield
-complete exhaust system
-OCT ( if u love to rev hard )
-1.6 stroker kit

I think these mod will last quite some time.

Getting a optimized complete exhaust system for campro engines is daunting especially when claims are amplified marketing purposes.

Alrighty, gonna be replacing my clutch kit end of this month.

But when I went to the sparepart shop and asked for the Exedy Clutch Kit, he gave me two quotations.

One for BLM and one for FLX.

To my understanding FL still runs Aichi-Kikai and FLX is Getrag.

But he said my car uses FLX Clutch Kit.

So now I'm confused, which one is it?

Exedy Daikin Heavy Duty Clutch Kit.
Better to look at your year of manufactured and gearbox itself. Getrag is only on FLX starting from 2012 onwards

Eh...the 'X' in FLX means the car is equipped with CVT gearbox.

FL model comes in either manual or normal 4 speeder autobox.
Just correction, the X indicates the final version or some people say it means Xtra. FLX comes in CVT and MT also. Like mine is FLX MT.

Clutch Kit : Exedy BLM or Exedy FLX?
BLM. Your clutch friction disc is smaller a bit compare to FLX but both from same company.

Yours is FL model so should be FL model clutch kit.

Anyway, its weird for Proton to be using different clutch within the same model. Its even weirder as the manual variant is sold in low number.

Whats your mileage?
Because the gearing on the AichiKikai gearbox for the BLM and FL are short ratio hence the bad FC from a lot of owner hence Proton decided to go for the Getrag for the FLX as the gearing is longer to get a bit improvement on the FC.

I am confused with this spec frm mivec. Has no clock and aircond as the dash comes with std analogue aircond. Based from what i read its rally spec. How much is this engine in halfcut. What are the problems that we face having this engine transplanted.
