aik.. funny. the threadwear; traction; temp: 220 A A

anyhow, been running with these re002, cant deny it wear out faster and i find wet driving a bit scary. maybe thats just me. probably when the road is cool, the tires wont generate enough heat. dry grip is excellent up to my expectation and if my wife can sleep in the car means that the sound is somehow low.
As far as I know still a dry tyre like RE-001...:driver:

Wet grid very bad, but excellent in dry performance.
Tyre use 20% running like snake at highway during raining time.

Another point, all RE002 made from Thai or Indo only.
Not like Re001 which some sizes from Japan, and almost same price.
So will u buy thai/indo made tyre with japan price ?

if 205-50-15 i know its available. used 1 pair about 3 yrs ago.

scary oo taikor over small "river" across the road :slug::slug::slug:
Aquaplane resistance tyres must get those with big longkang. As far as I know best like bro. Izso mentioned and I used before is the GY Eagle F1 GS-D3 which is now discon.
Heard Nexen N8000 also not bad, but then when longkang big less rubber then dry traction will suffer....:smokin:

The more Groove(Longkang) on tread, the more good in wet.
Same as opposite less, better in dry.
So tyre maker have to balance out the design, that why asymmetric design become popular nowadays.
One side for dry, and another side for wet.

Re002- please take note only 3 groove available, if compare to N8000 (4 groove).
Even though with big groove but only with 3 row.

Real big! The rubber contact is like only 60%?
That is why Pros and cons. Good for aquaplane resistance but not good for dry traction. Less rubber contact...:smokin:

Asymmetric pattern more for cornering, that is why more rubber on outer shoulder, to take the cornering force, and more rubber for traction. To compensate weak wet handling they make the inside with larger grooves. So it becomes neither this nor that or what layman say 50/50.

Hi all

My car having problem to start, especially when the engine is still hot. When i try to start, it gives 'tick' sound. I tried a few times, cannot also. Then, need to wait for a while, try again... Then finally the engine starts. Morning (or when I leave the car quite some time until the engine cool), never has problem at all.

My friend said it is the starter problem. Yeah, it is 18 year old car and starter never get changed.

Please help to verify this problem.

Thanks all...
