Currently using it...its been 1 1/2 years now..went for the medium setting...slightly on the softer side though, the missus will go crazy if i slotted in the hard setting..overall performance, so so..but the good thing is, each of these sets are specifically targeted for specific car makers..

That explains why it only listed Proton, Perodua and last i check for toyota vios..they have 3 variants..soft setting, medium setting and hard setting...each come separately..meaning..if u've bought d medium setting, later on if u wish to change ur settings...u have to buy 4 cluster sets with a different weight ratio (each RM200++)...

Maintenance wise, its serviceable..and parts are easily sourced..it offers only hi lo..no soft hard setting..Driving and handling, perfect for my need, that is daily driven and occasionally spirited driving..but medium setting is a big no no for circuit driving..trust me...i've tried it..hehehe..

Compare it to other brands, positive side would be the a) price..i would put KYB RS Pro in d same category as GAB SS..in term of feel and stiffness..b) parts easily source..any falken dealer would have it..

Negative would be, a) once u decided on certain setting (eg medium or soft)..u have to splash close to 1k if u later decide in changing settings..b) for me, it is not a performance adj abs per se..its a friendly absorber :hmmmm: if i may put it that way.. :)

My verdict, get one..if your ride is daily driven and u think eibach sport spring is hard then its for u.. but skip it, if ur used to the feel of TEIN, HKS hypermax etc.. :)

yup..before installing..i have tried all three settings on several sample cars..the chasis was a wira sedan 1.8...it was adequately hard..but not as hard as DC2 adjustables as a comparison..it was not bluntly hard should i say..taking intermediate corners at average speed of 90-100 km was a cruise..but bumpy as expected from a hard setting..compare it to a medium setting..an increase maybe around 40 percent of hardness altogether..

Yea I would like to know what setting did u go for and the price too. I got quoted by kakimotor around 1.4k negotiable. So I would assume the best price would be 1.3k. If it is medium or soft set up then it's still bearable...if not...i'm afraid my back would break

Did u ask kakimotor what setting is that? Lowered and still soft is something good for me haha..
How about the handling? Compared with stock, is it alot better? I find myvi stock suspension is already quite stiff and bumpy. Im driving 1.5 spec and i find it bumpy. It has been 9 months now and the suspension starts to soften a little bit.

Im really interested to test drive a myvi with kyb rs pro

kaki motor said only hv 1 setting, no choice.
its lowered and soft, its not good for handling, cornering u can feel body rolls easily
compare to stock, its better because its lowered, more comfortable than stock.
if u want performance, better get gab ss...ard rm2k..heard its much higher performance.

wah more comfortable than stock? its a good thing for street drive isnt it haha...

I have installed rear ARB, rear and front strut and the body roll is still unbearable. It improved compared to stock, but still I feel like tripping with taking corners in a rush to meetings haha

I have read some reviews that BC Racing V1 is better and even cheaper than GAB SS. Moreoever BC Racing is certified by TUV, a German version of SIRIM.

Argh...headache dunno which to choose...KYB is alot cheaper than BC and GAB SS...but im worried bout the performance
