Maybe it is the tax imposed by government that make proton cars expensive in Malaysia compare to overseas market.

sharul...tax alone? not enuff...protons here sit trailers can reach all over malaysia (dont mention Borneo as they have seperate price) last i checked, land shipments are WAAAAAAAAAAY cheaper than vessel shipments especially from here all the way to the middle east. and i'm sure the middle east gomen also charges some forms of taxes no matter how trivial...
