Hi guys,

I got a doubt. Is it necessary we need to tune the ECU after some modification have been done in our myvi? The modification such as air intake and exhaust system.

Very appreciate on your useful reply. Thank you.

Regards,
Jerry

Hi es2611, erm i not really understand " grab 1-2 ponnies" mean? Is it the safest way i bring my myvi back to perodua service centre and request them to re-tune the ECU?

I don't think that they will be provide this kind of service.
This kind of work can only be done by other parties.
And I think it'll void your warranty with Perodua once you modified the ECU.

re-setting u might go back to perodua, but if ur going to retune, like paohyen said theres alot of 3rd party out there.
RM 1xx? ur talking about dyno?

Nope, i just wanted to know the range of the cost in re-tune the ECU. Dyno run is getting the result of the car HP and torque right?

I don't think stock ECU can be "retuned". If you go back to P2 they'll just reset it with their device.

I don't think those mods are significant enough to be retuned. Myvi's ECU is adaptive anyway so it'll adapt after a day or two.

its just standard modification, doesn't require any retuning and whatnot.
stock ECU is not tune-able.
The least it can do is the firing timing and valve opening iinm.

but doesn't really require that as well i think :)
if u go for BOT, then yes, u need to tune ur firing system :)

just my 2 cents, sry if im wrong
