what cost are u referring PIMPIN?
As in between the widebody and the slightly pumped fenders etc? Surely the costs and amount of work involved are different. Plus the indirect cost of widebody kit (ie: wider rims, tyres). So was just wondering how substantial the difference was if Kevin were to go for a widebody kit.

Voted too fast before I saw the Widebody Design posted above. Gave me 2nd thoughts.
If you are able to find a better and nicer widebody design for the Z31, then go with it.

Like some said, don't make it too wide. If not, I would think it will still look good with
some simple mods on appearances like below, mind the gull wing doors if that's not
the target :driver:

Gull Wing Doors, maybe?

i suggest if there are extra funds available then only proceed with the widebody....
otherwise, concentrate on the engine performance 1st.
Although it's ultimately Kevin's decision, I agree with DanzEterna on getting the car on the road first. Then the looks could come later? Or just go with the same look as what Toshi (or whoever that is with the RB26DETT) has - that is one hot hot Zed :driver:

i think PIMPIN is referring to the widebody vs stock body costs. both will be sponsored so it doesnt matter hehehe

basically, some might view me as a sacrilege, but i found the perfect idea to go with the car, lol

using toshi's front and a copy of the ferrari f40 nostrils, i could make a nice ferrari lookalike!

and also by using the kouki rear, i could emulate the ferrari 348

what do u guys think? lol, very simple and subtle lookalike kit

of course, when we have a full horizontal bar light, we can do some magic to it!

Ah in that case by all means, go for whichever the heart desires.

Tapi rim lebar and 315 rear tires got sponsor or not :driver:

The last pic you posted, at first glance almost looks Mk3 Supra-ish

im actually asking for DOTZ Germany to sponsor their Touge Graphite series with optional color pin striping, lol! heres the photo, most likely a staggered setup, using 17 inches. Let's hope the negotiations go well

Cool rims. Hopefully they agree to your request! Best of luck!

But since we're talking black rims with yellow striping, how about the rest of the car color theme for interior and exterior? Retrim etc?

Kevin, stick to its original shape. it is already a beauty. no need for extras which i think will only make the car less authentic. I am also driving an old car but not as old as this. I rebuilt it a nd maintained its original looks. some parts like rims, seats n trims have been changed due to its age and no replacements. but thats it. furthermore, my car is not even close to this car. this car is by far more beautiful. just try not too take the looks away. not even trying to make it a ferrari look alike. just my view. decision is yours.

btw, that's a killer wheel. just in case if u need my opinion, hahaha, maybe not. good choice though. cant wait for the end result. any estimation how long will this project take?

actually i took that pic because it was large enough and clear, hahah. theres many colors to the pinstriping, just need to choose one to go with the theme well, ahhaha

i think exotic mods do sell the rims, u gotta call up shedden and ask for him. ive been contacted by the asia pacific team, hopefully some good news!

on the side note, forged racing radiators have been enthusiastic on our build and willing to sponsor a radiator. ive asked khoyos about the right one, he did point out the r33 rb25 would be the best choice. lets hope for some great action in the car, german, american stuff in a japanese car, great!

on the side note, saw this on mudah

New 18 inch sport rim DOTZ TOUGH GM - Car Accessories & Parts for sale Sabah - Mudah.my

goes for rm2.7k for 18 inches, maybe its about 2k+ for 17 too!
