Just passing thru and saw one of my fave cars here- so let me assist with some Qs since the owner has yet to come in.

1) From the pic, that's definitely a hard top- that's a bonus as the S1 soft top tends to leak during heavy downpours (well, at least here in UK);

2) This is the Series 1 Elise, so unless the owner has transplanted a new engine, this should be using the standard Rover 1.8 L K-series 118 bhp (88 kW; 120 PS) I4 unit. From Series 2 ono, the Toyota 1ZZ and 2ZZ engines are utilised. In UK, once the Rover engine konked out, other owners have routinely transplanted newer engines eg Honda K-series, etc; although the standard Rover is pretty much bullet-proof too.

3) That's an affirmative.

As long as your spine can take it, the Elise is going to plant a smile on your face- and it's lots of bang for your buck!

Random Post Every 5 Minutes

hello fellow petrol heads
please help a brother out

i have a blitz e-sbc boost controller
It's so old you can't even find any references to it online
it's one of those old school knob units that doesn't have a display on it
like those old Apexi AFCs.

Anyone knows where i can get it installed in my car?
I can't find any manuals or diagrams online
so i can't DIY

Anyone has one or anyone knows a mechanic who can help me out?

cheers!
