Need help from Neo members

hi semua, salam 1 malaysia. Saya ada masalah sikit dengan kereta sy. saya guna proton satria neo 1.6 auto. campro tahun 2010. kereta saya ni topspeed 160-165 kmh jea. rpm baru 4500-4600. tapi kaki cecah lantai dah. macam x logik pulak neo 1.6 punya topspeed mcm tu. So, sp2 yg ada pengalaman bole laa share dengan sy, harap otai2 neo dapat bantu sy. Terima kasih, Salam 1 Neo

So what you expect is the normal top speed for neo auto? 250?

Atleast 170-180. Just same in brochure

How is your car condition, fully standard or already using big rims and/or have heavy speaker box inside? Try testing when the fuel level is below half to make it lighter.

Would not help if the engine doesn't need such high RON requirement, it'll be just a waste of money.

Looks like the engine is a bit tired.

Just like 6UE5t point in his question, the condition plays a major role.
It should be able to clock at least 170kmh on gps if everything is well.

It should be able to clock at least 170kmh on gps if everything is well.

:( yeahh it should be, but what should i do? Someone told me I should do PDT tune. Should i? Cause only pdt tune can tune up vdo siemens computer box

Try locking in 3rd and drive. See can reach red line or not. If can, then only switch to D and see if you can go higher speed.....

Yup, agree that the engine do not require higher Ron will be a waste of money....

mine can only reach around 160km/h, stock standard under 10,000km....

after some mod can only reach 190km/h...
130hp, big speaker box, 16 inch rims and leather interior...
similar to Neo CPS...

i bet changing to manual and reduce weight can go over 210km/h...

a standard neo like TS's car, will be floaty when doing 150.....so, I'll be careful driving such speed or higher....

True that...can't just bought a car and test its top speed...

RON97 definetely helps...they develop the engine during that time...its show some difference at top end on dyno...

Remove all unnecessary things (reduce weight)
check tyre pressure (a bit high can be good)
clean all filters
change all oils (engine and ATF)
reset ecu
clean cars inside out
do some high speed/rpm runs (clean of carbons)
find flat route (bandar saujana putra to KLIA, kesas klang area, guthrie (not flat but empty), mex)
wind up windows
off aircond
and go...
