What does engine torque mean to you?

I see..i tot torque is how fast u'll hit the wall while hp is how far u can push. I use to think this way,
Hp = strength, Torque = agility.

the formula is :

Horsepower = Torque x rpm / 5252

so, actually the horsepower is limited by torque & rpm..

any engine can get 1000 horsepower.. but can it stand the pressure or will it blow off ?
