tq bro...but thats not my car...only a sample, but exactly like that.....only 4 lugs..mine taken out from s13 if not mistaken....wats yr RP01 JJ? 7.5/8?
erm, little bit confius lol...
if mech said to fit disc i bought need at least offset 31, thats mean it will fit with offset 40,42, 32, 35 kan?
if my rim only 7.5j with offset 40 and 1" spacer, is it posibble to fit the disc?

nope.
u nedd rims with offset 31, 30, 25, 20, etc...
not lower than 31.

so with ur 40 offset rims, u need 10mm spacer to get 30 offset.

hurm, should spacer will solve the problem? (sorry noob Q)
im sure 1" will not enough..
1 inch = 25mm.. anyone, any advise?
i think 25mm is too big and may cause failure on wheel bearing for daily driving..
i may have a little effect on bearings, i guess.
if u wanna buy 1" spacer, buy those 1" spacers with lug nuts.
if u only wanna get 10mm spacers, then normal spacer with holes are ok.

buy 10mm spacer is enuf i think coz if u buy 1" spacer, ur rim + tyres will be keluar too much.
tyres will hit ur fenders, if ur car is lowered and during bumps..

i bought 5mm spacers from sparepart shop rm15 per pc only...
mech say cannot use 10mm 5mm x 2 pcs....cos the wheel lug wont be tight enuf...so 5-7mm is the max.

if u planning to go for custom spacers with lugs......20mm will be sufficient....or max 25mm....

mech ask me to customize 1.5" spacer... crazy......
bcz my front wheel only 7j et40.. to fit aristo caliper, u need at least 8.5j and et31(somes said 8.5j with et35)..
base on calculation, 7j wheel only need 0.75"(19mm) spacer to make caliper clearance as 8.5j... and plus 5mm-10mm(mm not inch) to have offset below 35..
to be save, 26mm-29mm spacer should be enough...
this is what i understand... sorry if the calculation/formula isnt true...

btw, the spacer with lug nut as both of u explain... is it same as my attachment below?

yep thats the spacer with lug nut.

well, why dont u try to fit a normal 10mm spacer (spacer without lug nut)
and see if it clears the calipers.
if not, then only u use the spacer with lug nuts.
its not cheap..

and one more thing, the offset calculation is the same for 7" rims or 8.5" rims or any other rim width as the offset depends on the centre of the rim.
so, 7" rim or 8.5" rim will still have the same centre position, and if u more 30mm outwards (to get 30 offset), it still the same.
the difference is only the extended part of the 8.5" rim compared to 7" rim which is narrower (kurang lebar)..

bro..the best is to get 8/9jj with offset 30++ rather than u pening deciding on those spacers....
even if u using customs spacers on 7jj it will look funny....

is it possible for me to use 2 x 5mm (if 10mm not available) spacers on 1 side? any side effects? wobbling?

Good day,

a friend of mine called me up ask me to detail his brother's car. unfortunately i heard a bad news from him, the car interior was fully flooded badly due to heavy rain at Bedok Reservoir Street @ Singapore. the only thing his brother can do is use a cup to scoop up the water and dry it with a cloth. however when he deliver the car to me after 2 weeks time when the incident happened, i still find the carpet is wet and the underneath carpet's fiber are full of dirty water (air...
