R35 not skyline meh bro?
the v35 or g35 (not sure of the model) also skyline right....
That one is contraversial. The Infinity V35 was released in America as the G35, also named as the Skyline. But it has more things in common to the Z cars than the Skyline. RWD setup and nothing similar to the Skylines.

The R35 was never named a Skyline even though it was the official successor to the R34. Purists like Stupidcar will refuse to acknowledge the R35 as the latest 'Skyline' but for the rest of us who don't give a f*ck, it's spiritually the latest model to the Skyline name.

V35 also old already. That is based on the platform of Z33 350Z. There is a newer V36 based on 370Z platform. However, the latest Skyline in Japan now is the one that is the same with Infiniti Q50. I think the chassis code now is V37.

But then again Izso, from its very early roots, Skyline is also a RWD car to begin with... It is something more of a sedan car until the GT-R range appeared as the top variant... Something like Lancer Evolution with normal Lancer... But now, Nissan had split the GT-R lineup from the Skyline lineup. GT-R is now independent from the Skyline range...
