Nope. What for? You're not driving a racing car and a couple of grams weight savings is pointless.

True story : Got one friend using alu nuts (lightweight) and went track, the lugs popped out or loosened and the whole wheel popped out in a corner. No point la.

As I always said, losing weight from ownself first is the best solution to make ur car goes faster and save fuel. Benefit to ourselves and our pocket

Like Izso mentioned, no point losing a couple of grams, or even maybe up to 3kg, if our tummy weighs 5 kg

The nuts don't even weight 2kg I think

Is not that heavy, might as well lose own body weight like cvkit said or just remove the spare tyre

the only reason to get them is bling bling..unless u go for proper expensive ones like TPi which can even take air guns.

otherwise... steel is the way to go.

btw... anyone seen any BLACK STEEL lug nuts? prefer open ended... closest thing i could find is the Project U fakies..

open ended meaning the end of the lugs are not closed.. holes on both ends of the lug nut....so that the wheel studs can go through if ur using extended wheel studs.

Will take photo, buy from Hup Shun Tyres at Sunway.

Not 100% black but something like very dark brown. Will post in awhile.
Security lugs also not to be exact, just different lugs that can't open like normal or without
the key.

Was wondering, if i need to replace tyres if pancit or anything, how am I gonna remove it? :hmmmm2:

Close end ones if not wrong since I dont see any opening at the end. He did give me the key but
how to open with the normal lug wrench?

Usually they will ask what tools you use. If normal tools from the car they will recommend you get the cross (X) ones and that have 4 sizes. Normal is 19 and 21 and the cross have 17, 19, 21 and 23 which covers both.

If original tools don't fit, puncture time you chialat loh,.....
