but make sure you get a tune. the car runs like shit with this header without tuning. i have the dyno sheet to prove it. LOL.

nope. tung chun just installed it lock, stock and barrel. I dont think the welding will make much difference in terms of performance because there aren't any leaks. if anything it would make your exhaust setup more rigid... and more prone to cracking.

but you could always do it and let us know what the results are.
