GTR V-Spec Launch Delayed, But S-Tune Coming Out This Month

The arrival of the much anticipated Nissan GTR V-Spec has been delayed. Japan’s BestCar magazine reports that the GTR V-Spec’s expected launch at the 3rd quarter of this year has been put off till the end of this year or early 09. No reasons were given but on the bright side, Nissan will be releasing an Evolution or S-Tune version fitted with a number of parts developed by NISMO and used by them in the race-spec GTR that competed in the Tokachi 24-hour endurance race. The ninth edition of the Merdeka Millennium Endurance Race (MME) had reduced the starting quota for the less powered racing cars with those below 1600cc in Class C to be allowed 18 starters as compared to 26 in previous years.

WALD Waltzes With New Mercedes C-Class

Wald International does not need introduction, it has set its foot here though its just a print now but they seem to be able to stage a comeback. Now with their eyes on the new Mercedes-Benz C-Class (W204) sedan model, expect them in boxes filled with body-kits and such instead of container load of cars. Although Wald released a set of teaser images on its official website, it hasn’t announced any specific details on the package at the moment. The Japanese tuner’s proposition on the aero kit is every bit as aggressive ad you’d expect including new front and rear bumpers, side skirts, hood scoops, XL side vents, a rear diffuser and a humongous rear wing that brings back memories of the 190 E 2.5 16v EVO.

Shaun Juniper has further enhanced his racing credentials behind the wheel of his beloved Porsche 911 with a stunning result at one of the world’s most prestigious motor sports events.
The joint managing director of property developer Juniper Group finished fourth overall at Dubai’s Toyo Tires 24-Hour Race last weekend, with his four-man Juniper Racing team also snaring third in their class in their Porsche 911 (Type 997) GT3 RSR.
