527hp E92 BMW M3 by Dinan Tuning

Dinan is a premium tuner out California and specializes in tuning BMW’s; this is their latest project – the e92 M3 S3-R. The Dinanized M3 now has 4.6-liter v8 which was stroked from its original 4-liters. Doing this has increased its horsepower from the original 414hp to an incredible 527hp with 407 lb-ft of torque. Top speed of the S3-R M3 should easily be above 200mph or 322km/h or so Dinan claims. Read more

The adrenalin, the stress, the anxiety, the perfect balance of man and machine versus competitors that are in their own such equilibrium, winning just makes it all the more better. Being able to do so means thousands of man-hours put into building the perfect machine and many more hours for the drivers and pit crew to have everything at the tip of their fingers. BMW to start production of front-wheel-drive models

Reports have surfaced saying that a top official at BMW has confirmed that the German carmaker will soon begin to produce front-wheel-drive vehicles. The car, likely to compete with the Audi A1, will be based on a new joint architecture, currently in its research phase, that will be shared with the MINI. Read more
BMW Introduces Ultra-Lightweight ‘M Bike’

Great news for cycling enthusiast and BMW M division fans because the German automotive powerhouse has introduced a new speed bicycle for serious cycling enthusiasts. To ensure exclusivity the M bike will be built in limited numbers and will be sold both online and through certain BMW dealerships.
The 12.9kg bike will be available in three different frame heights and is constructed of aluminium. It features Match front suspension forks from Manitou, it’s springs have an 80-milimeter deflection. Other features include disc brakes, and a Shimano SLX component group/gear system with a high gear ratio to optimize speed. The BMW M Bike goes on sale this June, click the jump for more information. 661hp Hamann Tycoon Evo M based on BMW X6M

Hamann will be showing off it’s latest creation at the 2010 Geneva Auto Show – the Tycoon Evo M which is based on the BMW X6M.
Hamann liked what the X6M was offering but decided that the base car could do with more muscle. So modifications resulted in a power hike up to 661hp at 6,000rpm and a peak torque of 780Nm between 1,500 and 5,650 rpm. The Tycoon Evo M see’s off the 100km/h mark in just 4.2 seconds and doesn’t stop till it’s 50km/h over the official 250km/h that BMW posted in the standard X6M. Read more

BMW Vision EfficientDynamics Confirmed For Production in 2013

According to our sources, BMW will build a production version of the Vision EfficientDynamics Concept. Details are yet limited but Inside Line is reporting that a source has confirmed the car will be launched in 2013.
It has also been mentioned that the concept’s hybrid powertain will be carried over to the production model but “there will be less of the synthetic glass and more solid structure added to the final design.” The source, said to be a “senior BMW authority” also stated production would like be limited to less than 100,000 units.
