Spy pictures of Panamera pop up every once in a while, as if to remind us that it’s coming, but no shots have been as clear as this, which shows that the Panamera is still as ugly as when we first saw it. The Panamera is an important product for Porsche and that’s maybe why ‘ze Germans’ have been testing it in various different locations around the world; South Africa, it’s own backyard at Stuttgart and more importantly at the ‘Ring, but Porsche is not stopping at that, now they’re at the Arctic Circle. Volkswagen Scirocco R32 Teaser Shot A Fake

The Volkswagen Scirocco R32 teaser shot that we put up a few days ago appears to be a fake. WorldCarFans grilled the image through and through and found some peculiar brush strokes that covered the apparent perpetrators url; ‘www.scirocco.de’ url. The picture on the left reveals the brush strokes on the bumper of Scirocco. But that doesn’t mean that there will never be a Scirocco R32, who knows? It could just be a Scirocco R36. Leaked: Official Images Of The 2009 BMW 7-Series

Replacing the old giant of a luxury saloon BMW lovingly dubbed the 7-Series, is another, well, giant of a luxury saloon sporting the same design as the older 7 but if its safe to say, a different look. Bigger kidney grills that ape the nostrils of a pissed off hog are new to the 2009 7-Series, so are the butterfly wing tail lights but if you haven’t noticed, these are all taken off BMWs design study cars, the grills are off the concept CS, the tail lights are a spin off from the 5-Series facelift, the stance and ride height of the car seem very X6, and of course, there’s always that Bangle touch. Volkswagen Scirocco R32 - Teaser Shot

So while we wait for a few years and then wait some more for the Scirocco to make it to our soil, Volkswagen are already teasing the world with this image of the Volkswagen Scirocco R32. The image says it all really, the darkened image presents a silhouette of what seems to be a beefed up Scirocco sporting the same projector headlights as the standard. BMW M3 beats Toyota Hybrid Prius in Fuel Economy Test

The latest BBC’s Top Gear aired on Sunday last week (UK time) casts doubt upon the notion that a hybrid car would be the most fuel efficient in every circumstances.
Clarkson chose the most extreme examples to make the point — a sedan equipped with a V-8 engine producing 414 horsepower against the Toyota Prius with its 76 horsepower hybrid motor. The EPA rates the BMW at 14 miles per gallon in the city, and 20 on the highway which compares unfavorably to the 48 and 45 figures for the Prius. Read more

Even after much speculation, BMW continues to deny the existence of an M-badged X5 and there is a logical reason why there never may be, its size. The guys at BMW explain that the SUVs size, weight, height, and packaging will never be worthy of the legendary tri tones of the M badge but as Autoblog puts it, “that doesn’t mean BMW can’t produce a hotter version of its biggie-sized SUV.” Read more
