Aston Martin One-77 New Test Video – Deliveries To Begin Mid-2010
March 7, 2010
Aston Martin didn’t display the One-77 at the Geneva Motor Show, but it wasn’t about to let the opportunity to grab some attention pass, so they released this video showcasing the upcoming, highly rated, and highly anticipated One-77.
The uber-Aston is apparently capable of clearing top speed of almost 355km/h. Powered by a new 7.3-liter V12 engine from the company and utilising an all carbon fiber monocoque body, only 77 examples of the new Aston Martin will ever be made and deliveries are set to begin mid-2010. Official Aston Martin press release after the jump. Read more
Aston Martin Shows Off The Completed Cygnet
December 16, 2009

A few months ago we showed you photos of Aston Martin designers working on a small Aston Martin that was touted to be the first small Aston built for city commuting rather than continent cruising, think Smart ForTwo and you get the idea. In fact the car that the Aston engineers were working on was a clay-covered Toyota iQ, proving that city commuting is what it’s being built for. Read more

September 24, 2009

Aston Martin has just uploaded eleven pics of it’s long-anticipated four-door Rapide onto its Facebook profile (yes Aston Martin has a FB profile). These are among the pics released to the media from the Frankfurt Motor Show and as the release date comes closer, we’re guessing the release of these images are just a natural progression of things till the actual unveiling. You can follow the Rapide’s progress on Aston Martin’s Facebook profile.
Autocar Checks Out The Aston Martin Rapide
August 24, 2009
The Aston Martin Rapide is the first four door Aston Martin ever and considering this, it’s also one of the most anticipated. While the British company may not be ready to let journalists drive the car as it’s still under development, they are certain willing to let one take the passengers seat. Autocar’s Steve Cropley got the chance to take a ride as he joined the development team during hot weather testing of the saloon in Kuwait.
It’s actually a slow video with Cropley interviewing a member of the development team as they drive along. He certainly doesn’t look to be enjoying himself much. The Rapide’s exterior styling doesn’t seem to be very enticing and doesn’t have the same effect it had on us as earlier renderings had but it’s definately something different. The camera angle’s don’t show much of the interior but one thing is sure, there’s not much room as Cropley points out. Watch the video and let us know what you think. Read more
2010 Aston Martin Vantage LMV/R Concept by Elite
August 5, 2009

The Aston Martin Vantage is already a beautiful car and is high up there among the I-Someday-Want-One list of various car nuts. So how do you improve such a car without taking away the beauty and desirability? One way you can do that is by taking subtle design hints from other very desirable cars like the Ferrari Scuderia, Ferrari Stradale as well as the Lamborghini Superleggera and somehow gel that with the underpinning design of the Vantage. The result is what you see here – the 2010 Aston Martin LMV/R (Le Mans Vantage Racer). Read more
Too Rich And Bored? Aston Martin One-77 Still Available
February 4, 2009

Selling million-dollar supercars isn’t as easy as it used to be. While Lamborghini quickly offloaded its small run of seven-figure Reventons and Bugatti has gone through the bulk of its Veyron production, Aston Martin may be finding it a bit more difficult to separate the obscenely wealthy from their millions. First Official Rendering Of Aston Martin Rapide
February 2, 2009

Autocar has what it says are official renderings of the new Aston Martin Rapide. If Autocar has it right, however, the Rapide’s front and rear aspects are closest to the Vantage V8, not the DBS or DB9. The front air dam features just one lower intake, the trunk valance is flush with the car, and the tailpipes flank the rear diffuser area. Those are all Vantage cues. Read more
2009 Aston Martin LeMans LMP1 Race Car
January 27, 2009

In conjunction with the 50th anniversary of its only overall win in the Franco Enduro, Aston Martin is set to tackle the 2009 24-hours of Le Mans in this – a pair of Gulf liveried LMP1 race cars. The two coupes are based on the 2008 Charouz Racing System Lola and will be powered by the same production-based V12 found in the LeMans GT1 DBR9. Development was performed by Lola, Michelin, Koni and BBS, along with Aston’s largest partner, Gulf Oil. Read more
Aston Martin Rapide Spied In Full Production Form
December 22, 2008

Spies have caught the Aston Martin Rapide almost precisely as it will look when it is launched in 2009. It’s seen here wearing two different rim types, probably as a visual test but also as a performance test. We can see the typically c-shaped Aston Martin rear lights, tailpipes, front grille as well as the rest of the front end quite clearly. But Aston saw it fit to hide rear wheel arches up to the C-pillar area. Read more
