The Euros @ TIMETOATTACK Round 1 2013

TIMETOATTACK would be incomplete without the Euros. Every year, the response has been nothing short of epic, and drivers and teams return with more upgrades to improve their time – keeping the competition tight and strong.

This year, its business as usual. Returning attackers like Shedden Ee from ExoticMods has replaced his famous turquoise stage 3 VW Golf GTI Mk6 a.k.a ‘Bambee’ with a Golf R Mk6 which has been stripped out, and track-prepped specially for TIMETOATTACK. Not to forget our forumer, NukeeZoid who was all set to attack Sepang last Sunday too in his Renault Megane RS! (read his story here).

The 2014 Ford Focus RS to Prowl the Streets with 350-HP!

Ford’s Focus RS is just getting meaner as time passes by, and the planned 2014 version is said to be quite a fighter as bits of information of the next-generation RS are beginning to leak out. The current Focus ST is already something not to be messed with as the 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine packs the hatchback with 247-horsepower to gallop with; but this new RS houses something better under the hood.

Ford is now Formula Drift’s 2013 Official Sponsor

A few days ago, we have heard of Ford’s departure from the WRC, where they had to pull out due to the current economy situation in Europe. But does that mean Ford is going not to be pouring any support in the growing motorsports scene? The answer is far from no as with the ever-growing popularity in the sideways arena, Ford has just announced their sponsorship as an official partner for the 2013 Formula Drift season.

Ford Trails MINI in Leaving the WRC

We have just heard that the legendary MINI is pulling out of WRC by the end of the 2012 season, but it looks like they are not the only ones doing so. Just shortly after MINI’s withdrawal, rally veteran Ford is the next one to follow suit in leaving this dirt-kicking motorsport.

Ken Block’s Gymkhana Clip Receives a Parody Makeover

Parodies had made plenty of laughs by bringing up a much funnier version of an original song/movie/clip that was intended otherwise. The classic aerial dogfight movie Top Gun fell victim to the Charlie Sheen-starring “Hot Shots!”, and the famous American slasher film Scream had Scary Movie turning the shrieks of terror into a massive amount of laughter. But it seems like the parody makers are now turning their attention to the octane-filled auto videos as the one that has recently received the parody makeover is one of Ken Block’s gymkhana clips.

LAUNCH: Ford Focus ST to Arrive by November – Bookings are Open!

New Nurburgring Record Set by Ford’s 1.0L EcoBoost Race Car

Ford had gone to great lengths in proving that size does not really matter in the pursuit of speed, and some might be a bit skeptical on their quest as they were trying to squeeze out the full potential of their 1.0-liter EcoBoost engine. While some are a bit skeptical in having a minute engine to propel a car into speed, Ford had just gone against the odds as a street legal Ford race car powered by the three-cylinder engine had just earned itself the 11th fastest lap time set on the Nurburgring.

Take a Ride with Motor Trend’s “World’s Greatest Drag Race” 2012

Last year, the guys at Motor Trend had answered the curiosity that most of us had plagued in our heads. With more and more powerful cars emerging into today’s market, the most common question encountered today is “Who will go the fastest?”, which they had put a straight forward answer to it by staging one of the most epic drag race ever.

By lining up 11 of the best cars from all continents, the Japanese had proved that their GT-R is nothing to be played around with as it obliterated its rivals, which some of them are much more powerful like the 458 Italia and the SLS AMG.
