A couple of years ago Indian designer Dilip Chabria set out to create a very unique car for a very unique customer, one of the Maharaja’s of India. And the result? Design Study: BMW Lovos Concept

September 29, 2009

bmw-lovos-concept-18

A design study not by BMW but by a certain 24-year old Pforzheim University graduate by the name of Anne Forschner. She certainly has us wishing we took up automotive design back in university as her recent design has taken the limits of car design to a whole new, animalistic level, proving along the way that car design can be more than just what we’re used to. Dubbed the BMW Lovos Concept, the car can either look like a frightened porcupine or a very sleek fish thingy.

The Truth Behind Paul Walker’s Fast & Furious GT-R

September 23, 2009

If you’re a car nut then you should be a Fast & Furious nut as well. Remember Paul Walker and Dom tearing up the streets in their gorgeous monsters that had us drooling? Well, the car’s were nice but now I’m not sure if they were worth drooling over. Here’s Paul Walker’s GT-R used in the first F & F with a somewhat peculiar twist to it.

In essence it still is a GT-R thanks to it’s shell but in reality it is just a tube-framed buggy with a VW engine in the back instead of a RB engine up front. The engine bay is now empty. Well, before you feel conned, this particular car was used for jumping and driving down a flight of stairs and I’m guessing the real thing was used for the rest of the movie. But still, I’m just guessing. Read more

February 25, 2009

Before you misandrists start sending us hate mail and call us names, understand that this video is real. But whatever the case, any of us can be hit by the bus lane barriers shown in the video – so ladies, try to see the funny side of it. Then tell us what you think in the comments section below. MIT Student Alters Road Signs – Raises The Living Dead

January 29, 2009

road_sign_hack4

Malaysian construction companies are not really in the habit of using these electrical sign boards to warn motorists of danger but you do encounter one once in a while. Now what would you do if you came across one that said “Zombies Ahead”. Well, that’s exactly what one MIT student did when he got his hands on a unprotected electronic signboard. Apparently, these sign boards are not well protected by any substantial security measures and changing a sign only requires the ability to type. I’m not saying we should all go hacking electrical road signs but out of curiosity, what would you type in? Read more
