Video: Lamborghini Estoque
October 7, 2008
The Lamborghini Estoque has received overwhelming coverage lately and that’s only because it is one of the most highly anticipated cars at the Paris Motor Show. And now that it has been revealed, media around the world have been scurrying to get the best possible shots or the one shot that no one got. Nevermind photos, here’s a video of the four-door Lambo courtesy of Carscoop.
Paris 2008: Mercedes Mclaren SLR 722S Roadster
October 6, 2008
I am a bit sick of special edition SLRs really, there seems to be an endless streak of special editions lately. We all know that the SLR is about to phased out and the upcoming speedster is the last of the SLRs, but all the special edition models seems as if the SLR is one model that just refuses to die, something like a villain in a James Bond movie who gets shot by an entire army regiment, blown-up, torched, nuked and still comes back to stab Bond with a tooth-pick, only to be shot in the head, great.
Paris 2008: Mini Crossover Concept
October 6, 2008
Somethings are just not meant to be, not for any particularly devastating reason but for moral principals, well it could just be devastating, if you’re one of those people that stick to a particular virtue like a religion then straying from it could be quite difficult. But not if you’re MINI. Having been in the car building business for more than 50 years now, MINI has hardly put a foot wrong, it is one of the most successful brands in automotive history.
Paris 2008: New Mazda MX-5 Unveiled
October 6, 2008
As similar as it may seem to the current MX-5, the 2009 Mazda MX-5 sports some convincing tweaks, as minor as they may be. The RX-8 inspired revisions to the front end may be difficult to spot but the new headlamps, five-point air dam and blistered arches all flow effortlessly into the same lines as its predecessor. Out back, the redesigned tail-lamps may appear to be the same and are equally as easy to miss but they are redesigned as well.
Paris 2008: All New Volvo XC60
October 6, 2008
Car sales have been poor around the world lately. As more and more automakers see their profits suddenly dwindle, Volvo has been dealing with such a situation for a while now. The sales of the Swedish marque have not been encouraging and that makes this new model a very important product for Volvo.
Paris 2008: Mitsubishi Colt Ralliart
October 6, 2008
The Mitsubishi Colt Ralliart is a car for enthusiasts and non-alike. While only enthusiasts may appreciate the performance and handling that comes with the Ralliart badge, we believe that almost everyone can appreciate the design of the car. It really is a safe design that sits well with the masses though the interior may still be standard Japanese with the plastics and cloth upholstery.

Paris Motor Show: Jaguar XKR-S - Fastest Jag Since The XJ220
October 3, 2008
Jaguar revealed this in total silence. There was no word on its hottest XK to date till the last minute when it was revealed in Paris. The XKR-S packs a 4.2-liter V8 that delivers 420-hp to the rear wheels through a six-speed automatic gearbox equipped with Jag’s Sequential Shift system. The engine and the shifts propels the big cat from 0-100 in 5.2 seconds and onto a top speed of 280km/h, officially making it the fastest production Jaguar since the controversial XJ220 supercar.
Paris Motor Show: Renault Megane Trophy - The Legend Continues
October 3, 2008
This is the Megane Trophy, a continuation of the legendary racer from Renault. Destined to race in a single-make race series, Renault released the racer after releasing the comparatively boring Megane Coupe at the Paris Motor Show sometime yesterday.
Paris Motor Show: Ferrari California
October 3, 2008
In California they say women are as fast as the cars, and that on the beaches they drop their tops as quickly as this Ferrari California. At 14 seconds from up to down it may be really hard to beat, by the summer ladies that is. It’s a hardtop made of aluminium to keep the weight down. And when it’s down there is very little to quieten-down that V8 which sings a chorus that only 460 horses can sing through those four pipes at the back.
