2010 Bahrain Grand Prix Video Summary
March 15, 2010
A great video summary of the season opener race at Bahrain this past weekend thanks to the guys over at axis of oversteer. Many are saying that the race was boring and the ban on refueling has made it less interesting and I definately have to agree on that. Ferrari and Mclaren benefited from Vettel’s RB6 suffering from a power loss due to a exhaust problem, the two Championship winning teams picking up precious points in the process. Current World Champion had a quiet race and finished in P7 where else Formula One legend Michael Schumacher finished ahead in P6 behind his younger and less experienced team mate, Nico Rosberg. Check out the video above for highlights. Read more

The Audi RS5 Meets Its Fore-Father – The Ur-Quattro
March 9, 2010
Car makers love to harp on the DNA of their cars, especially if it’s a performance car that is replacing an icon of its generation, like the new Audi RS5 that has the 80’s legend “Ur-Quattro” as its forefather. Audi of course made sure that they highlighted that fact in the video above.
The ur-quattro only makes a short appearance in the video above but it sort of highlights what the RS5 is about and the type of buyers its targeted at. Its 6-minutes of driving footage with some great V8 background music. There’s another video posted after the jump of some beauty shots of the coupe’s interior and exterior.
The RS5 is powered by a naturally aspirated 4.2-liter V8 engine producing 450-horses and 430Nm of torque. It’s all-wheel-drive layout, a seven-speed dual-clutch S tronic transmission, center-differential and 1725kg weight ensures great performance figures; the magical 100km/h mark is seen off 4.6-seconds and will top-off at an electronically limited top speed of 250km/h.
Sales of the Audi RS5 Coupe will begin in the third quarter of 2010 with a European base price of around €77,000. Read more
