The all new Tiguan is now here in Malaysia. Just launched today by VPCM, this well loved SUV will be priced at RM148,990 for the Comfortline and RM168,990 for the Highline

The Tiguan, since inception has sold over 2.8million units globally. Since then VW has redefined everything from designs to comfort and functionality, making this new entry the most refined Tiguan ever, to the last mm. The New Tiguan is also EEV Certified

Engine and Drivetrain:
The Tiguan is powered by VW’s famed 150ps 1.4L Turbo direct injection TSI powerplant and is mated to the more preferred WET CLUTCH 6 speed DSG. Leaving behind the recently criticised dry clutch DSG

Zerotohundred in the Tiguan 1.4L TSI is dealt with in 8.9 seconds while fuel consumption is rated at 6.7L/100km

Active Info Display
The new and desirable instrument cluster in the Tiguan consist of a 12.3″ TFT Display and will replace their conventional analogue instrumentation panel.

This display can be set to display the driver’s preferred theme, namely:
Speed and Gear
Consumption and Range
Off road

The Tiguan will feature an entertainment system lead by a it’s 8″ LCD touchscreen display and will support a host of connectivity options for mobile devices. This display will also feature rear view reverse camera apart from the usual car menu and infotainment.

Feature wise, the Tiguan will get the KESSY system, which is VWs term for Keyless entry. Leather multi function steering with paddle shifters. More importantly, the new Tiguan will get VW’s Park Assist for the discerning school run mum and there’s the dimming rear view mirror.

Upholstery wise, the Tiguan will be furnished in “Vienna” leather electric seats with 12 way adjustability. Interior Cooling will feature the “Climatronic” 3 zone temp control system. Rear passengers even get their own foldable tables like in an airplane. As dusk sets in, its Ambient lighting illuminates the interior, side steps and door lining.

The new Tiguan is now longer, wider and lower in height than its predecessor and portrays a sharper physique. Lighting isn’t compromised either as the SUV will get LED Headlights and taillights. Wheels wise, the Tiguan will feature 18″ Kingston style units
