Yes, you read that right. For USD 895,000 or a whopping RM 3.92 million, you can get your hands on this unique Youabian Puma, or maybe spend a fraction of that for a new pair of glasses or better, a lasik surgery.
Just in case you do not know what the Youabian Puma is, it is a ‘car’ that was designed by a “Dr. K. Youabian” and was displayed at the LA Auto Show exhibition hall back in 2013. With looks that only a mother can love, the Puma is also unmissable for is massive size as it measures 6.15 metres long, 0.53 metres wide and rides on tires 1.1 metres tall.
Underneath the hood lies a 7.0-liter V8 engine that churns out 505-horsepower which is enough to propel this huge four-wheeler from zerotohundred in 5.9 seconds. And surprise, surprise, this car also comes with a retractable hardtop roof that can open and close in 20 seconds. Although we do not think anyone in it would actually want themselves to be seen riding in it.
Ever since its reveal to the public, the Puma’s creator was so offended by the reception from the general public that he had threatened numerous media outlets with legal action claiming ‘defamation’. But it seems that even the owner could not stand keeping this big blue blob in his garage any longer as it is now on sale on James Edition for a hefty USD 895,000 or in our currency, RM 3.92 million.
If you are one of those individuals who would like “to stand out and be unique”, then this is the car for you. But it is worth noting that for the same money, you could ride off in something like a Porsche 918 Spyder…
