It may be hard to digest that this car can be driven legally on public roads, but it is and it will be available to interested parties later in May at an auction in Monaco. This particular example is actually an ex-racing GT1 Evo that was converted for street use, so it should not be mistaken with the 911 GT1 Strassenversion which already gets its street legal status straight from the factory.

The car has quite a racing history as well as it managed to win 13 races out of 31 starts, and it had also snatched the win for the Canadian GT championship for three times in a row from 1999 – 2001.

Powering this monster 911 is a 3.2-liter biturbo flat-six engine that develops more than 600-horsepower, which is more powerful compared to the Strassenversion’s 544-horsepower. Being the only one of its kind, this street 911 GT1 Evo is expected to have its value increase in the future, and it will not be a surprise if it surpasses its estimated selling price later in May.
