After giving the fans a sneak preview at the recent Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week 2015, Volkswagen Malaysia finally gave the new Beetle Club a proper launch at an exclusive ‘Welcome to the Club’ party.
“Since its arrival on Malaysian shores 60 years ago, the Volkswagen Beetle has preserved its reputation of being an iconic car. We seek to constantly excite or fans by bringing these limited editions to them,” said Mr. Armin Keller, Managing Director of Volkswagen Group Malaysia.
The new VW Beetle Club focuses more on its looks where it is easily distinguished from its distinctive Habanero Orange Metallic finish and the ‘Club’ lettering text decal on each side.
Fitted with 17-inch Ravenna alloy wheels, the interior also gets a makeover where it is given ‘Club’ exclusive ‘Vienna’ leather sport seats, steering wheel with ‘Club’ lettering and some stylish orange stitching.
The new VW Beetle Club is fully imported from Mexico and comes with a price tag of RM 152,888. Produced in a limited number of only 50 units for Malaysian market, customers are able to place a booking for the Beetle Club at selected Volkswagen authorised dealerships, available while stock lasts.
