Though it may seemed like yesterday that Brian O’Connor was racing on the streets in a Mitsubishi Eclipse, the Fast & Furious movie franchise has seven movies under its name since the first movie in 2001. With the tragic death of Paul Walker in an accident, most of us thought that Furious 7 was the last movie in this never ending journey. Or is it?

While there were rumours back in 2014 that there will be an overall number of 10 films made, it was finally confirmed by the film star and producer Vin Diesel himself that there will be three more films produced before calling an end to the Fast & Furious saga.

As for the time being, the details of the eighth film are pretty sketchy as they have even yet to decide who the director. But what we know is that ‘Fast 8’ is going to be released worldwide on April 14, 2017, and among the names confirmed to be in the movie will be Jason Statham and Dwayne Johnson. There is no definite word on whether all other Diesel’s co-stars in Furious 7 will make an appearance in the movie or not.

Anyways, the new movie will be taking place in New York and we are guessing it is going to be another action flick with lots of cars going in fast speeds and blowing up in the process.
