If the number of exotic and supercars flooding the upcoming Geneva Motor Show is getting a bit boring, fret not as Honda is also making an appearance in the auto show. And soon to take the stage is their all-new turbocharged Civic Type R which has yet to be revealed in production form, until recently.
While there are a couple of spy shots that had leaked onto the net over the weekend showing the car in production form, Honda had also came up with a couple of photos showing the new Type R without any sort of camouflage or covers to conceal its true looks. There is no doubt that the car looks more aggressive in concept form, but it still has yet to lose the charm of a hot hatch originally shown on the concept.
As for the time being, this single image is the only one that we could find from Honda themselves in showing the true looks of the new Type R. But we reckon that it would not take long for them to unveil the car to the world as the Geneva Motor Show is only a couple of days away.
As a recap, the new Type R is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged VTEC engine that is said to produce more than 280-horsepower and is able to go up to speeds of about 270km/h.
