The next-generation Infiniti Q60 Concept was not supposed to appear before its scheduled Detroit Motor Show debut but like most anticipated car, we would not have to wait long for its unveiling. Recently making rounds on the net is a set of images of the new Infiniti Q60 Concept which has features taken from the Q80 Inspiration that made an appearance at the Paris Motor Show last year.
Infiniti said that this model offers “a no-compromise fusion of looks and speed”, as well as “exceptional dynamics and driving pleasure”. However for the time being, Infiniti has yet to reveal any details on the powertrain of the Q60 Concept.
The car is a two-door coupe with a 2+2 seating layout with dashes of carbon fiber and Alcantara trim for the interior. Riding on 21-inch wheels, the Q60 Concept also takes design cues from the Q50 Eau Rouge like the front wheel arches. The design chief of all Nissan brands, Shiro Nakamura said that the production Q60 will aiming on cars like the BMW 4-Series, Audi A5, Lexus RC and Mercedes’ C-Class as its main rival.
