It is called the C-HR, and this new concept crossover is going to be one of the showcase cars that Toyota will be displaying at the upcoming Paris Motor Show. Like most concept cars, this new C-HR might just give us some hint of the design languages Toyota will soon adapt for their future production models.
According to Toyota, the Auris-sized crossover “introduces an expressive new design approach with a diamond styling theme. Beneath the flowing cabin profile, the lower bodywork has been sculpted to create faceted surfaces, like the precision cutting of a gemstone.”
The C-HR certainly has a broad stance, especially with the flared wheel arches, angular rear shoulders, and the ‘floating’ rear light clusters. As for now, Toyota had yet to shed any light on its engine or even the hybrid powertrain. The C-HR concept will be making an appearance at the upcoming 2014 Paris Motor Show happening this October 4-19.
