The New McLaren 650S Leaked Ahead of its Geneva Debut!

It was meant to be McLaren’s answer to the Ferrari 458 Speciale, and it was also scheduled to make its debut at the Geneva Motor Show. It seems that the latter could not be achieved as after a so-called “private presentation”, the images of the McLaren 650S has made its rounds on the net, revealing the looks of this new McLaren supercar.

And they are not sketchy images that will roughly tell the looks of the car, it is a whole set of official images that properly shows this mid-range supercar. Slotted between the MP4-12C and the P1, the 650S still looks like the usual 12C with a major tweak in its front where it now looks like the P1 hypercar.

The 3.8-liter twin turbo engine has been tweaked to produce 650-horsepower, 25 more horses than the standard 12C. Although they had yet to release more information about the 650S, The Sunday Daily mentioned that the 650S also includes upgraded aerodynamics, brakes and transmission. We could also expect extra carbon bits to further garnish the car in shaving out some weight.
