Peugeot teased the 208 GTI 30th Anniversary a few months back, and recently debuted this model at the Paris Motor Show. Featuring a unique matte black and red paintjob with subtle red inserts, the 208 GTI 30th Anniversary certainly looks the part. The 18″ wheels, with 205/40/18 Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires are also finished in matte black, and features some large red Brembo front brake calipers.

Powering the 208 GTI 30th Anniversary is the Peugeot PSA 1.6 THP Prince engine, which has been altered  to produce some 208 hp and a total of 300 Nm of torque. Only transmission choice is a six-speed manual gearbox (yay!). The 208 GTI 30th Anniversary also benefits from its bigger brother, as it gets the Torsen Limited Slip Differential (LSD) off the RCZ-R. Zerotohundred is achieved in just 6.5 seconds.

The Peugeot 208 GTI 30th Anniversary sits lower and wider than the regular 208 GTI. Besides that, the 208 GTI 30th Anniversary also has revised camber and wheel alignment to optimize grip and enhance road holding capabilities. The damper and spring rates as well as the revised anti-roll further proves that Peugeot is serious about the 208 GTI 30th Anniversary.

Discovered the automotive scene by chance. Hooked on ever since. Can be found quite often in Sepang, just snapping photos and observing people.
