Picking the 2014 ZDayZ enthusiast gathering in North Carolina as their launch platform, Nissan gives their new 2015 370Z Nismo its global debut at the annual gathering of Nissan, Datsun and Nismo sports car owners and enthusiasts.
“Nismo is the heart and soul of Nissan performance, both for the track and on the street, so it’s fitting that we are showing the dramatic new 2015 370Z Nismo for the first time at a gathering of our most loyal and enthusiast owners,” said Nissan Chief Planning Officer and Executive Vice President Andy Palmer.
Catching the eyes of the beholder on the new 2015 370Z Nismo is definitely its new facelift where it features an updated exterior with a redesigned bumper housing LED daytime running lights and red accents on the integrated front chin spoiler. Continuing the Nismo livery, the car is also fitted with red pinstriped side skirts, new 19-inch forged alloy wheels, a small rear spoiler and a reshaped lower portion of the new rear fascia.
The 370Z Nismo is now made available of a 7-speed automatic transmission with Downshift Rev Matching (DRM), Adaptive Shift Control and manual shift mode with paddle shifters, a reworked suspension and seats co-developed with Recaro exclusively designed for the 370Z Nismo. Under the hood lies the same 3.7-liter V6 engine pushing out 350-horsepower and 276 lb-ft of torque.
