Boyracers rejoice. Another round of spyshots has surfaced for the new upcoming Civic Type R. This time around, feast your eyes on the bright lights this car has to offer. These bunch of photos were taken in Croatia (Not by us!) while the car was filmed for promotional photos and videos.
So from these shots, it’s obvious that the car will likely have some really blinding brake lights that is integrated into the spoiler. We do hope that this is an optional extra, as it could spell trouble for those who are behind tailgating the new Type R.
While at the moment it’s still too early to say if this particular car is still a development prototype or production model. By judging from these set of photos, it seems like the Civic Type R is indeed hotter than the regular Civic, but some of the modifications can be seen as over the top, like those LED tail lights and quad exhausts.
Nonetheless, the new Civic Type R is expected to have in excess of 280 ponies powering the front wheels. Looks like the hot hatch game has just gotten, hotter. We can’t wait for the Nissan Pulsar Nismo to make a debut sooner!
