The Mercedes-AMG GT is Mercedes’s replaced for the iconic SLS AMG, which debuted back in 2010 and discontinued earlier this year. Like other Mercedes models, the AMG GT is available as an Edition One model for the early buyers.
The AMG GT’s power comes from a twin turbo 4.0L V8 which produces 503 hp and 648 Nm of torque. Power is transferred from the engine to the rear wheels via a seven speed dual clutch transmission. With that, zerotohundred, as claimed by Mercedes, is done in a mere 3.8 seconds, and onwards to a top speed of 311 km/h.
What sets the AMG GT Edition One apart from the regular AMG GT is that the Edition One are bits and pieces of carbon fibre stuck on the outside, like the front air vents and the front skirting. As for the rear, the Edition One features a fixed rear spoiler that replaces the regular’s hidden one. Besides that, the 10-spoke black allow wheels are also unique to the Edition One. The AMG GT’s metallic grey colour scheme enhances the AMG GT’s exterior lines.
As for the interior, sources has indicated that the AMG GT Edition One will have yellow stitching in the interior, as well as unique Edition One emblems.
