Remember a few weeks back, when we posted news about the teaser that Lamborghini dropped here? Well it seems like there are some developments to this story.
Initially, we guessed that Lamborghini was in the midst of adding a 4 door saloon to their lineup. But according to the latest rumours, it probably wont be a 4 door saloon. So chances of seeing the Estoque is properly canned. The name Asterion, which can be traced back to the Greek mythological creature, which was half human and half bull. Pretty much fits the bill, as the Asterion (car) is reportedly powered by a petrol hybrid V10 engine which produces around 900 hp.
The images shown might not be the sharpest, but it does give a good look to how the car’s shape will end up like. From some angles, it is possible to see hints of the Lamborghini Huracan in there, but the car’s overall size does seem smaller (squashed?) as compared to say, the Huracan.
According to the source, these bunch of shots were taken off an Italian magazine titled Quattroruote. Whether or not these pictures actually depict the real car, or it is elaborate hoax, we guess we’ll just have to wait till the official debut during next month’s Paris Motor Show.
