The LaFerrari, Ferrari’s answer to Porsche’s 918 Spyder and McLaren’s P1, is a mental hybrid hypercar. But Ferrari does not want to stop at just the LaFerrari, so naturally there will be a XX development variant (Cue the FXX and 599XX program). Gauging from the video shot at Monza, the rear right suspension of the LaFerrari failed mid corner somewhere at the 2:12 mark. This was definitely not an intended action, as seen from previous corners, the suspension held up pretty well, only to fail further down.
With the launch being slated for early next year, Ferrari should have sorted out all the bugs. The XX version of the LaFerrari is expected to be even lighter and to feature more horsepower, with the current LaFerrari being rated at 950hp.
