Ever since Koenigsegg expressed their intention in making a new supercar that could probably be the world’s fastest production car, we were more than excited to see what the Swedish company could produce. And it seems that we would not have to wait long as Koenigsegg is set to reveal their brilliant creation at the upcoming 2014 Geneva Motor Show this coming March.

Dubbed as the One:1, this new supercar gets its name due to the fact that it will house 1,400-horsepower while tipping the scales at just 1,400 kilograms. And Christian von Koenigsegg himself said that the weight has already included all water, oil, fuels, and the weight of an averaged sized driver.

With the amazing power to weight ratio of one horsepower per kilogram, Koenigsegg is confident that this new One:1 will set new acceleration records for 0-200 km/h, 0-300 km/h and even 0-400 km/h sprints. Koenigsegg engineers suggest that the One:1 could reach speeds in excess of 450 km/h, which given enough track length and suitable tires for the job.

The Koenigsegg One:1 will be featuring carbon fiber wheels, a new front fascia, a fixed roof and a carbon fiber air scoop. The rear will house a massive rear wing, a completely redesigned rear end and a new diffuser. The roof and the wing are linked by a carbon fiber tail fin, similar to the Pagani Zonda 760 RS.
