Italian State Police gets the new Lamborghini Huracan LP 610-4 into the force!

The Italian State Police must be one of the luckiest police force there is. With Lamborghini donating the Gallardo LP 560-4 to the police force a few years back, the Italian police have been updated with the latest hardware by welcoming the new Huracan LP 610-4 into their inventory.

Replacing the fleet of Gallardos used by the Italian police from 2004 – 2008, the new and customized Huracan was handed over by the President and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini, Stephan Winkelmann, to the head of the Italian State Police, Prefect Alessandro Pansa in a ceremony in Rome at the “Museo delle Auto Storiche della Polizia di Stato”, or the Museum of Historic Vehicles of the Italian State Police.

Powered by a 5.2-liter V10 engine, the new Huracan has 602-horsepower (610PS) in its disposal, allowing it to accelerate from zerotohundred in just 3.2 seconds and has a top speed of 325km/h.
