Having inspired and influenced a lot of us in the younger days, the death of Paul Walker or famously known as Brian O’Connor had shocked the auto community all over. But it seems that even in such times, there are always opportunists trying to gain some benefits from the incident. Two young men were caught on camera picking off parts belonged to the charred Porsche Carrera GT, and they certainly should have not done so.
One of the two was sentenced to six months of jail time, while the other thief will have his judgement later in October. Both Fast & Furious actor Paul Walker and former racing driver Roger Rodas lost their lives when the Carrera GT they were riding in spun out of control and hit a tree before going up in flames.
But the drama does not stop there as when the tow truck that was carrying the charred remains of the Carrera GT stopped at a set of lights, 18-year old Jameson Witty and his 25-year old accomplice took a panel from the T-top of the Porsche. But Witty clearly was not so witty as he posted the images of his loot on Instagram a few days later.
