BMW introduces the new 592HP M5 “30 Jahre M5” Special Edition, Limited to 300 Units Worldwide!

In celebration of the M5’s 30th anniversary, BMW is coming out with a new limited edition of their current F10 generation model. Dubbed as the “30 Jahre M5” which translates in English as the “30 Years M5”, only 300 of such example will be made.

With all of them will be finished in Individual Frozen Dark Silver with dark chrome trim accents, this special edition model will also be featuring 20-inch bi-color alloy wheels with 265/35 ZR 20 tires for the front and 295/30 ZR 20 at the rear, a Merino leather and Alcantara interior with aluminium décor, and not to forget an insignia to remind you that this is a special anniversary model.

It also comes with the optional Competition Package that includes chassis tweaks, hunkering the car down by 10mm with lowered suspension, stiffer anti-sway bars, and a reprogrammed M Dynamic Mode (MDM). The 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine’s management system was also tweaked and with the increased pressure, the car now has 592-horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque in its disposal.

Weighing 1,870kg, BMW said that the sports sedan comes with 7-speed dual-clutch transmission as standard and could do a zerotohundred in 3.9 seconds, compared to the standard M5 of 4.3 seconds. Top speed is limited to 250km/h, but goes to a higher 305km/h with the optional M Driver’s Package.
