Back From The Dead! [+Video]

Like other respectable flammable supercars or even sports cars, this particular supercar has been spotted furiously lapping on the Green Hell, and well, catching fire a day after. Well, that was almost 3 months ago, although it felt like it just happened yesterday. Yes our hearts still ached when we saw the photos of the Honda NSX burned to crisps.

And now, Honda’s NSX replacement is back from the dead. Another prototype was born and is lapping the Green Hell again. This time around, the car does not burn down to the ground, and does not seem to sport any visual difference (from what we can see).

Watch the video below of the reborn Honda NSX lapping Nurburgring.

The second third generation Honda NSX is expected to maintain the forefather’s mid engine layout, with an electric motor assisted V6 engine powering the rear wheels. Via Honda’s Sport Hybrid SH-AWD (Super Handling All Wheel Drive) system, another 2 more electric motors will be powering the front wheels. A new 7 speed dual clutch automatic will make a debut here. Combined output will be about 400 horses, with torque vectoring up front to improve handling.

The 2015 Honda NSX is expected to make a global debut next year, with sales expected to start in mid 2015. We’ll be keeping a close eye on the Honda NSX’s progress.

Discovered the automotive scene by chance. Hooked on ever since. Can be found quite often in Sepang, just snapping photos and observing people.
