Like the Porsche 918 Spyder, the new Acura NSX’s looks is not that much of a mystery. Set in making its debut sometime in 2015, the next-gen NSX prototype has already been seen in a number of occasions in both motor shows and on the track. After being seen screaming its lungs out at a course in Mid-Ohio, the NSX Prototype will once again be seen in action in this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed.

Set to take place between June 27 and 29, the prototype version of Honda’s upcoming hybrid supercar will tackle the hill during this year’s Festival of Speed. While it will not be a worthy competitor of the Peugeot 208 T16 Pikes Peak car that is also making an appearance, this NSX will surely be a highlight as it will be joined, at the bottom of the hill, by “a 1989 3.0-liter NSX, once driven by Ayrton Senna himself, and a 3.2-liter, illustrating the original model’s rich history and development”.

For the new NSX to make an appearance in this event is like taking a little stroll down the memory lane as 10 NSXs once took stage during the very first Goodwood Festival of Speed in 1993.

The next-gen NSX will be powered by a mid-mounted twin-turbo V6 engine with Super Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD) to give an extra edge through the three-motor high-performance hybrid system.
