There is no denying that the Infiniti Q50 Eau Rouge is a cool concept car. Unveiled at the Detroit Motor Show earlier this year, the Q50 Eau Rouge caught everyone’s attention when they revealed that this performance luxury sedan will get its punch from a 3.8-liter twin-turbo V6 engine found in the mighty Nissan GT-R.

Although they are still stressing that the car is still a prototype, it is most likely that the Eau Rouge will see its way to the production lines. For starters, Infiniti themselves are looking forward in fielding sportier cars at some point. And secondly, Sebastian Vettel took this prototype out for a spin.

The four-time Formula One champion took the camo-ed Q50 Eau Rouge to the Millbrook Proving Ground in the UK and although it is a very brief video, at least this thing could actually move. They might have not released much info on the car for the time being, but they are “pressing ahead with the evaluation” and the results of the tests will be released at the upcoming 2014 Beijing Auto Show.

Sounds interesting? We have seen the GT-R kicking its rivals’ hind for years now, and it will be exciting to watch if the powerful German sedans had finally met an opponent that will give them a hard time.
