So we’ve gotten our hands on Lexus latest IS250 in F-Sport guise. I’ve got to say it’s perhaps one of the most controversial current sedans we’ve driven this year. Let’s take a quick look at a short video we’ve just prepared in perspective, the geeky yet awesome instrument cluster of the IS250 F-Sport.
This item is LFA inspired no doubt. In the LFA, there isn’t a mechanical gauge quick enough for the rapid revving 500hp V10 which explains the reason for an LCD edition.
But on the IS250, this LCD gauge really exude a sporting character in an otherwise luxury 4-door sedan. But prepare to be blown away as the “pages” button on the steering is depressed. It turns grown men into a 5-year old kid when the metallic central tachometer bezel slides away to reveal even more advanced digital functions of the cluster. A never before seen gimmick in any car today!
