TopCar Reveals Their Latest Carbon Fibre Fetish – The Stinger 991 Carrera

Although the new Carrera 4S is wider by 22mm than the 2S model – Russian aftermarket tuning company, TopCar has taken it through even more plastic (or rather carbon fibre) surgery and gave the 991 4S an RWB-like wide stance. In the process, they’ve also given it a new nickname – ‘The Stinger’.

TopCar takes pride with their new Stinger as the whole new aerodynamic package is fully made out of carbon fibre. Other than keeping the weight down, the Stinger now sits lower and wider on the road to give the 991 a sharper edge. The Stinger package includes front and rear bumpers, airpaths in the front bumper, extenders of front and rear wings, bonnet, set thresholds, extra spoilers and taps on the exhaust pipes. The example was also fitted with ADV.1 wheels to match the aggressive looks of the Stinger.

Interior has also been to the operation theatre and is now lavishly covered with carbon fibre, to match the exterior. Plenty or carbon-fibre trim with ‘Stinger’ sill-plates to remind you that this isn’t just a normal 911. At the same time, carbon-fibre seats are matched as a final word to the finishing touches.

The designers at TopCar explained that they have designed this new aerodynamic package with care and attention, as they understand that the Porsche engineers have spent decades in search of the perfect handling car. And they believe that with their kit, it is set to deliver an even better handling that will work simultaneously with the design and chassis of the 991.

At the moment, the ‘Stinger’ kit is only available for the 991 Carrera 4 and 4S variant – but in time, TopCar will release another kit for the narrower Carrera 2 and 2S. If you are a 991 4S owner and would like to add a little bit of spice to the looks, TopCar is now offering their new masterpiece at €14,280. Mind you, the ADV.1 wheels is not included in the Stinger package.
