The Tokyo Auto Salon may have been over and done with back in January of 2013, but things just seem to be getting better, not to mention closer to us Malaysians. Rather than having to exchange our Ringgit for some expensive Yen just to attend the illustrious event that’s been going on in Japan for the last 30 years, it’s now as close as crossing over the Causeway into Singapore.
Though its definitely a plus point for our countrymen down south in the state of Johor, getting to the Tokyo Auto Salon in Singapore (TASSG) will now be a less costly affair; thanks to the support of the Tokyo Auto Salon Association (TASA) of Japan, which will be taking place at the from 12th (Fri) – 14th (Sun) April 2013.
The TASSG 2013 will open its doors from 10am – 10pm throughout the duration and will also take up the ample space located on Level 1, spanning from Halls A to C.
Entry charges for a one day pass will begin as low as SGD$10 for children under 12 years of age to SGD$25 for adults, while a 3-Day pass for adults only is available at SGD$70.
Going into specifics, there’s going to be more than 20 of the finest and most unique exotic supercars coming in from Japan that will include iconic Japanese / European Tuner Cars and specially tuned show cars.
There will also be a TASSG Autostyling Showdown Competition where the aim of the game is to change the overall look and feel of the car to make it virtually unidentifiable to its own make and model through the use of aftermarket add-ons, accessories, full body customizations and exotic paintwork.
This will be TASSG’s largest auto styling competition in Singapore with more than 40 cars ready to be displayed and judged by auto styling personalities from both Japan and Singapore in order to be in the tussle for the “Top Auto Styling Masterpiece”.
And where Japanese cars go, so will the hottest Japese girls follow with the J-Girls (Race Queens from Japan) and Miss FHM Tokyo Auto Salon Pageant of 2013 to be making an appearance; and will includ other stage activities along with the likes of Japanese girl group ‘AKB48’ to make an appearance that will feature talented girls ranging from ages 13 to their mid-20s.
