Porsche Panamera (2014) – Just a Little More Potent Than Before

After numerous spy shots floating about on the inter-web, Porsche has finally revealed some official news regarding their upcoming 2014 Panamera. Albeit, it’s gotten itself some slight tweaks aesthetically, but the real difference lies under the hood.

Although the new Panamera doesn’t seem to have some major changes cosmetically, but they have been tweaked – sporting a newly shaped front and rear bumpers, headlights, a new rear LED tail-light cluster as well as a revised rear hatch.

The Panamera S E-Hybrid now offers plug-in hybrid technology, allowing it to give you almost 32km/L in terms of fuel efficiency from its 410bhp 3.0L V6, while the lithium-ion powered electric motor gets you up to 35km when in EV mode as you speed around at 130kmh.

This makes the Panamera S E-Hybrid 30bhp more potent from the current S Hybrid, while its sprint to 100kmh is down by 0.2s from 6.0s and maintains the same top speed at 270kmh.

However, the non-hybrid Panamera gets itself a new 3.0L V6 twin-blown powerplant, departing from its supercharged one, now capable of generating 413bhp as well as 522Nm of twist.
